Billing overhaul with Revolut Pay and automatic payment recovery, WhatsApp alert notifications, report smart aggregation and export customisation, hotspot analytics, public tracking CRM and routes, roles rework, platform performance improvements.

Share

A major billing and payments upgrade, WhatsApp alert notifications, smarter reports, fleet hotspot analytics, a complete public tracking management suite, a new role system, and significant performance improvements across the platform.

Billing & Payment Overhaul

Revolut Pay integration

A second payment method is now available alongside Stripe. Revolut Pay provides faster checkout for European customers with instant payment confirmation. Choose your preferred payment method during signup or switch any time from your billing settings.

Unified addon pricing

All add-on products (extra assets, premium reports, API access, message packs) now share a single addon catalogue with consistent pricing rules. It is easier than ever to manage your subscriptions and see exactly what you are paying for.

Automatic payment recovery

Failed payments now trigger an automatic recovery sequence: retry attempts at increasing intervals, email notifications at each stage, and graduated access restrictions. When payment succeeds — whether via retry or manual action — your account is automatically reactivated with no intervention required.

WhatsApp Notifications

Fleet alerts on WhatsApp

Alert notifications (speeding, geofence, power cut, and more) can now be delivered straight to WhatsApp. Receive the same real-time alerts you get via push notifications and email, directly in your WhatsApp conversations.

Report Enhancements

Smart aggregation for trail reports

Trail reports now use intelligent aggregation that collapses repetitive stationary points into single entries while preserving full detail for movement. The result is a dramatically shorter, more readable report that highlights the journey rather than burying it in idle data.

GPS signal quality indicators

Trail reports now display GPS signal quality badges, making it easy to identify sections of a journey where positioning data may be less reliable. Stricter thresholds reduce noise so that only genuinely poor signal is flagged.

Fluid columns with drag reorder

Report tables now feature fluid column widths that adapt to content, with drag-and-drop reordering. Your preferred column layout is saved automatically and applied every time you view the same report type.

Export customisation

PDF, Excel, and HTML exports now respect your column visibility, order, and width preferences. What you see on screen is exactly what appears in your downloaded file.

Improved report reliability

A new watchdog system detects reports that stall during generation and automatically marks them as failed, preventing the queue from backing up. Combined with retry logic and tab-visibility checks, report status updates are now more reliable even on unstable connections.

Hotspot Analytics

Fleet hotspot map layer

A new Hotspots layer on the tracking map shows where your vehicles spend the most time. Animated markers indicate hotspot intensity, with colour coding by traffic volume. Click any hotspot to see a detailed breakdown of visits, average dwell time, and time-of-day patterns.

Traffic insights widget

A new Traffic Insights panel on the dashboard aggregates hotspot data into actionable summaries — busiest locations, peak hours, and under-utilised stops — helping you optimise routes and schedules.

Instant loading

Hotspot data is now computed daily in the background rather than on-demand, ensuring the map layer loads instantly even for large fleets with months of history.

Public Tracking Upgrades

Route management

Shared tracking links can now be organised into routes with scheduled service times, stop sequences, and access modes. This is ideal for shuttle services, delivery routes, and any fleet operation where external viewers need structured journey information.

Plate, driver, and stops ahead

Public tracking pages now display the vehicle's registration plate, assigned driver name, upcoming stops with estimated arrival times, and a live journey timeline — giving viewers a complete picture without needing dashboard access.

CRM and access requests

Viewers of public tracking links can now submit access requests that appear in a new CRM panel. Approve, deny, or follow up on requests, with automatic email notifications at each stage.

Intake forms

Create custom intake forms attached to tracking links. External users fill in the form (e.g., passenger details, delivery instructions) and submissions flow into the CRM for review and approval.

Webhooks and API integration

Configure webhooks to receive real-time notifications when tracking events occur — link views, access requests, form submissions, and more. A new API Docs panel within the sharing area provides endpoint documentation for integrating with your own systems.

Accidentally deleted sharing links can now be restored. A "Show Deleted" toggle reveals removed links with a one-click restore action.

Roles & Permissions Rework

Fixed role hierarchy

The permission system has been rebuilt around a clear hierarchy of fixed roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Operator, Viewer, and Driver. Each role has a well-defined set of permissions, replacing the previous dynamic role assignments.

Role management page

A dedicated Role Management page lets you view all available roles, their permissions, and assign roles to team members. Role badges appear throughout the interface so you can see at a glance who has what access.

Performance & Stability

Server-side pagination

All list views — assets, alerts, tracking links, and more — now use server-side pagination, drastically reducing initial load times for accounts with hundreds or thousands of records.

Instant PWA resume

Reopening the dashboard after it has been in the background is now near-instant. Asset data is cached and restored immediately while fresh data loads behind the scenes, eliminating the blank-screen pause on resume.

Faster API responses

Significant backend optimisations reduce response times across the platform. Frequently accessed data is now cached, and query patterns have been streamlined — resulting in a noticeably snappier experience, particularly for large accounts.

Smoother mobile experience

A comprehensive audit identified and resolved cascading re-renders triggered by background processes. The result is a noticeably smoother experience, particularly on mobile devices.

Search & Filtering

Searching for locations or asset names now ignores diacritical marks — typing "Zebbug" will match "Żebbuġ". Search results also maintain relevance ranking rather than being overridden by alphabetical sort.

OBD indicator badges

Assets with OBD-II diagnostic data now display an OBD badge on their card, making it easy to identify which vehicles support advanced diagnostics at a glance.

Expandable filters and batch update

New expandable filter groups for OBD status and tracker model are available in the asset list. A batch update dialog lets you modify multiple assets at once — assign groups, change vehicle types, or update status in bulk.

Infrastructure Upgrade

Improved reliability and lower latency

The platform has been migrated to dedicated European servers with automatic failover for all caching and data services. If any component goes down, a replica takes over within seconds. The result is lower latency, faster page loads, and higher uptime.
