VIN Decode & Vehicle Data
Automatic VIN decoding
Enter a Vehicle Identification Number and the system automatically decodes it using the NHTSA database, populating make, model, year, fuel type, and other vehicle attributes. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures consistent, accurate fleet records.
Cascading dropdowns
The asset creation form now features cascading dropdowns for make, model, and year — select a make and the model list filters automatically. Combined with VIN decode, adding a new vehicle to your fleet takes seconds rather than minutes.
First-class vehicle fields
Vehicle attributes (VIN, make, model, year, fuel type) are now stored as first-class database columns rather than custom fields, enabling faster queries, better filtering, and seamless integration with reporting.
Asset Utilisation
Utilisation tab
A new Utilisation tab on the asset detail page shows how effectively each vehicle is being used. View daily, weekly, and monthly breakdowns of active hours versus idle time, with visual charts that highlight under-utilised assets in your fleet.
Settings Redesign
Four-tab layout
The settings page has been decomposed into four focused tabs — Profile, Company, Account, and Notifications — each with a clean, purpose-built interface. Company details and branding are now merged into a single card with inline avatar upload.
Country and phone inputs
New country combobox and phone input components provide proper international formatting with country code selection, validation, and auto-formatting for phone numbers and postal codes.
IoT-Mobility Data Sync
Bulk asset sync
A new bulk endpoint and periodic re-sync command keep vehicle data consistent between the IoT tracking platform and Mobility fleet management. Fields like VIN, make, model, and year now flow automatically from IoT into Mobility records, eliminating manual duplication.
