Zoho Books invoicing, manual-to-card billing transition, overdue invoice enforcement, IoT-Mobility asset sync enrichment, driver detail page.
A major billing infrastructure upgrade with Zoho Books invoicing, a self-service path for switching from manual to card billing, overdue invoice enforcement, richer asset data flowing from IoT tracking, and a redesigned driver profile page.
Zoho Books Invoicing
Automated invoice generation
Invoices are now generated and dispatched through Zoho Books. Each billing cycle automatically creates a professional invoice, syncs the customer contact, and delivers it via email. View and download all past invoices directly from the billing history section.
Pay Now links
Every invoice includes a Zoho Pay Now link, making it easy for customers to settle outstanding balances in one click without needing to log in to the platform.
Manual to Card Billing
Self-service transition
Accounts on manual billing can now switch to card payments without contacting support. A new dialog in the billing tab guides you through entering card details and confirming the transition. Webhooks automatically update your billing status once the card is activated.
Overdue Invoice Enforcement
Three-tier escalation
Overdue invoices now trigger a graduated response. A subtle alert card appears first, followed by a persistent app-wide banner, and finally restricted access for significantly overdue accounts. Each tier includes clear messaging about the outstanding balance and a direct link to pay.
Smart invoice buttons
The billing tab now shows contextual action buttons based on invoice status — pay now, view invoice, or download PDF — so you always know what action to take next.
Asset Data Enrichment
Bidirectional IoT sync
Asset data flowing between the IoT tracking system and fleet management is now richer and bidirectional. Vehicle statuses, types, and enriched fields (fuel type, odometer, VIN) sync in both directions, keeping your fleet management and tracking dashboards consistent.
Force sync
A new sync button on individual assets lets you trigger an immediate re-sync from IoT tracking data. The sync status is visible as a badge on each asset, and a dedicated column in the asset list shows the last sync time.
Driver Detail Page
Unified tabbed profile
The driver detail page has been rebuilt as a tabbed profile combining driver information, assigned assets, activity history, and IoT tracking data in one view. Quick actions and inline editing make it easy to manage driver records without navigating away.
